Geocache Description:

Beautiful Equestrienne statue of a true heroine and a saint

Rather than write out a long passage here on the cache page, I refer you to a related web page which contains a thorough if slightly ribald history of this fine monument. But I do recommend that you read the story of Joan of Arc, the Maid d'Orleans, if you don't already know it. There really are stranger things that have happened in history than we can make up. This is a replacement for the replacement, in a different container and location. If you find the velcro, you're in the right place, but it has nothing to do with the cache.
