Having worked on several Eagle Scout Projects in this preserve (including blazing the yellow trail you were just on), I thought I should bring to your attention the Disney/Pixar animated movie Up. It is about a crotchety old man and a Boy Scout. The scout even has a GPS!! The old man’s house goes up with a bunch of balloons and the adventure begins.
Anyway, you have to climb up the yellow trail to get here. You can access this cache with your feet planted firmly on the ground. Most will not find the final hide by looking up, but a few will. No climbing needed.

P.S. If you are lucky you may hear a Pileated Woodpecker that lives in this area. You may even see him.
