This cache is located in Hart's Brook Park and Preserve off Ridge Road in Hartsdale, NY. It is a beautiful "passive use" park with lawns and gardens as well as wooded areas. The property once belonged to Henry Gaisman, who developed the safety razor.
Parking is near the entrance to the park, and trail maps are usually available at the kiosk. PLEASE STAY ON MARKED TRAILS UNTIL YOU ARE CLOSE TO THE CACHE. You want the blue trail.
You are looking for a screw-top plastic jar, with camo. Bring your own pencil, please! The cache was placed with permission from the Town of Greenburgh Park Supervisor.
Enjoy the park as you search. You may also see deer, turkeys, foxes, and/or a variety of birds.
