This hidden gem in midtown is a relaxing spot amidst the bustling workers.

We're so happy that so many folks find this as their first cache in the States or New York and are getting so much enjoyment from it. It seems to be quite the gateway for travel bugs into and out of the country! Remember that urban caching is different with all that bounce and you shouldn't feel bad about using the hint.
This unique public space is probably worth a lot of money for its airspace considering its location. The cache is a small container which blends well in its hiding spot and can hold a few coins and travel bugs. You can find this cache while enjoying the view the space provides.
Please note park hours are 7am-8pm weekdays, 9am-6pm weekends, and 9am-6pm weekdays November 2nd to March 31st wintertime... though I've seen this spot open when it should be closed and closed when it should be open...
If the hours say the park should be open but the gates are closed, go around back and try the elevator, it may be running.

NOTE: Due to the large number of closings of this park I contacted the Department of City Planning. Believe it or not, I found the exact person I needed to speak to right away and they will spot check the area and contact the Department of Buildings who will enforce the posted hours. All of this will happen at the speed of government however. Keep trying- the site is worth it.
