Geocache Description:

A fun hike through the 30 acres of the Ridgebury Slope and Peterson Gorge open spaces in Ridgefield.

Access to the trails from the cul-de-sac on Partridge Drive at waypoint PK. Follow the trails. Stage 1 is a camo'ed match stick container with the coordinates to the final. The final is a camo'ed lock-n-lock. FTF prize is an unactivated geocoin.

Watch your footing at the final, after all, the names of these 2 open spaces contain "gorge" and "slope".

Cache was planted in the snow, amid the sound of babling brooks in the spring runoff. Enjoy the hike, with several stream crossings, bridges, well marked trails. Continue past the final to the Snake Lake wetland to see frogs, turtles, and salamanders.

Alternate entry points to the open space exist, but please park at the coordinates given. Enjoy the hike.
04/23/07: Since there is a lot of bounce, and it's been found, I'm adding better hints.
05/17/08: Fixed stage 1, updated hint, much happier with this one now!

Congratulations to JPA3&4 for the FTF!
