GEOCACHING: A HIGH TECH ADVENTURE

PPL Montour Preserve Environmental Education Center
Presented by: George Dalious, Local Geocaching Enthusiast

Enter the fun and exciting world of geocaching. Presenter George Dalious (starduster) takes you from the basics of purchasing and using a GPS system, through rules of the game and tips on safe hiking.

The program will culminate in an actual search for some nearby caches. There are a few that reside at Montour Preserve.

There will be a limited number of GPS units available to borrow, however, if you have your own please bring it along.

This will be a great introduction to an outdoor adventure that is fun for the whole family. The program will last approximately 90 minutes and will be held rain or shine.
