Another cache placed along a trail that lies in Whatcom Land
Trust protected area. I actually placed this cache a
looooonnnnngggg time ago. Like a fine wine, some caches need to
mature. It is time for this cache to be shared with others.
This cache is accessed via a trail that starts near "I'll take
the Low Road" cache. If you start there, the distance to the cache
is less than 0.75 miles along a flat, forested trail. The cache is
located 5 feet off the uphill side of the trail just before the
trail reaches the river. I am not going to lie, the coords are
about as wonky as can be changing every time I tried to get them to
settle down. Please use good sense and the knowledge that the cache
is 5 feet uphill from the trail and all will be good. You are
looking for an ammo can
After finding the cache, I highly suggest you walk up river and
admire the excellent geology. If you are observant, right were the
trail drops to the river, there is a source of fossils.
