Geocache Description:

Very easy walk...would be good for a family outing. Very pretty area where some rich folks used to live. Bring a picnic lunch.

An easy walk to the cache site (minor paved hills) in a pretty area of Westchester County. We only stumbled across this general site about 2 weeks ago when looking for a good place to take our pooch for a long walk & were very pleasantly surprised!!! (hence the name of this cache...lovingly in honor of our pooch, Evie) This would be a great cache to do if your on your own or want to do a family outing. Bring a picnic lunch/dinner & find yourself a spot with 1 of many ***fabulous*** views after you've cached.

This is a traditional cache in a fairly small Ammo box with an official geocaching sticker on the outside. It's well hidden by leaves, sticks, etc...please cover it back up when you're done. We outfitted this cache with the following items: log book, pen, pencil, 10 sticker packages, 2 highlighters, 1 penlight, 1 package of flower seeds, 1 box of big crayons, 1 package of patriotic confetti, 1 "Magic Excuse Ball" keychain, 1 phonecard, 1 Tarrytown postcard, 1 American flag pin, 1 stethoscope, 1 rubber stamp, 1 rubber chicken keychain, 5 Tarrytown Horsemen glow-in-the-dark keychains, 1 splash ball (soak up water with it & throw it @ someone for lots of fun), 1 goofy parking violations pad, 1 Where's George? bill, 1 Travel Bug named "Lucky Monkey". Geez...I think I've listed everything we put in there.....

As I mentioned earlier, take time to wander around this location & check out the views, especially near some old house "foundations." I can't rave about them enough, as they are spectacular!!!!!!!!! Enjoy your hunt & please let us know how you liked it!
