The trailhead can be reached by passenger car, but the road is pretty bumpy. I'd plan on staying overnight. BE SURE TO BRING A CAMERA!!!
The contents of the cache are : Sailor Moon keychain, Japanese money, canister of trout flies.
The cache is a clear glad/tupperwear - type container with blue top.
The cache is located under a mound of rocks, but is visible straight on from ground level. It is guarded by the corpse of my best flyrod, which was broken while mountain climbing to lakes in the vacinity of the cache. There are are 3lb trout in the lake nearest the cache. The cache is near an outbuilding near an old fire lookout. In the outbuilding there is a glass container with some paraphanalia from Delta airlines- THIS IS NOT THE CACHE, NOR IS IT RELATED IN ANY WAY!!!
Plan on spending at least a night- you may possibly be able to stay in the lookout, though I'm not sure. It should be administered by the Forest Service, I suppose. However, backpacking and staying at area lakes is well worth the trip. The fishing and wildlife viewing is spectacular. Wear a bear bell.
