Whooo Can Help the Inspector?
"Fresh off solving The Case of the Forgotten Geocache Hide, I rushed to the Commissioner to tell him my findings. Arriving there, I found that I had lost my heirloom magnifying glass given to me by my grandfather! Mentally retracing my steps, I am certain that I lost it at the marsh."
My vivid memory recalls the following:
- At the junction of two trails, I headed off on a bearing of 156° (SE).
- After about 15 steps, I came to a new post in the ground on the left.
- 60 more steps brought me to a group of four pines on the left.
- I continued on, and after 115 steps, I came to an elm tree on the right.
- After about 40 more steps, a flash of pink caught my eye and I chased it into the woods on a heading of 60° (NE).
- I dodged trees and brush but lost the elusive panther after about 65 feet. I rested against two trees. I am confident that it was there that I lost my precious magnifying glass.
