CITO 2026 : Season 1
Attend a CITO between 1st March - 31st May to gain the souvenir
🌳🌿 TRIMMING TRAILS ON ROBINSWOOD HILL 🌿🌳
The ranger and myself will be on site for the 3 hour duration of this CITO event
but please feel free to turn up whenever is convenient and just stay as long as you wish
All help is welcome
Parking: Is in the main Robinswood Hill car park, (see parking waypoint). This is a free car park and has no time limit - as long as you leave before it closes!
Where: Meet up at the Ranger Station (main coords) for 09:30, or if arriving later in the morning look out for an update on the cache page with our exact position. The reference waypoint shows approximately where we will be working.
What: Today we will be continuing to keep the the trails and paths clear on the Hill, lightly trimming back any bramble and vegetation that is starting to encroach onto the path, as well as removing any low hanging branches, taking care not to disturb any nesting birds.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance and tools. Please bring your own work gloves if possible.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by Council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
You may like to bring a drink and snack for breaktime. Homemade cake will be provided 😁
