Geocache Description:

This cache is located in York County in the Heritage Rail Trail County Park. The park is a 21 mile linear rail trail that runs from York south into Maryland. One of the trails most historic landmarks is Howard Tunnel. Built in 1838, this 370 feet long tunnel is the oldest continuously operational tunnel in the world. Several cachers have mentioned the train artwork on the north side of the tunnel. Check it out.

The above co-ordinates are in the trailhead parking lot along Glatfelter Station Road. Park here and bike or hike a short distance north on Glatfelter Station Rd to the rail trail. Go north on the rail trail to complete your journey. If hiking, allow about 1 1/2 hours to complete the 3.5 mile round trip.

This virual cache contains two clues you will need to calculate the co-ordinates for Tricky Dicky cache in Richard Nixon County Park. You need to find two dates, each of which are the four digit year. You do not need a flashlight but don't forget pencil and paper.

For the first year, ask Ernest Grothey when he settled in the area. This date will be used to calculate Trick Dicky N latitude. To check the year, the sum of the 4 digits equals 20.

The second year can be found above the second key with a stone. This date will be used to calculate Tricky Dicky W longitude. To check the year, the sum of the 4 digits equals 21.
