This tunnel is from the Donora Branch of the Pittsburgh and West Virginia Railroad. This line was abandoned in the late 70's or early 80's. This line goes under the Country Club Golf Course and Route 88 and comes out at Ridge Avenue in East Monongahela.
The cache is a 35mm Ammocan filled with a lot of goodies. A good flashlight is a must and recommend hiking boots. There is a nice waterfall right near the tunnel. Please place the container back as you found it . The coordinates at the top of the page will take you to the front of the tunnel. From there you will need to go 135 feet or 60 steps to the container. There is an easy way or a hard way. The terrain rating will depend on your approach. There are two other caches nearby, GC449Z4, and GC25CPF.
