Geocache Description:


POPS - W. 52nd St.

This cache brings you to a nice lunch time oasis in the middle the concrete jungle.  If you walk around Manhattan long enough you will come across hidden parks and lunch time get-aways that are a refreshing find amongst all of the tall buildings. It is nice to be able to eat your lunch outdoors on a beautiful day rather than being stuck in your cubicle.

Due to terrible reception in the area (my GPS coordinates had me standing on 51st st.) I have given you the picture above which is ground zero.  The cache container is a very well hidden magnetic micro (hint, hint)
Across from GZ is another breezeway with seating to enjoy your lunch. Be sure to enjoy the animal sculptures located here.
This breezeway is open 8am - 7pm but the cache is accessible 24/7 (hint, hint).  It is located about half-way down the block between 6th and 7th ave. If you go to google maps there is a street view that shows you the exact area of this cache.  The coordinates are accurate but your GPSr will probably be useless so use google to get you to the right spot. Being that this is midtown manhattan it goes without saying that muggles will be a major factor. Enjoy the hunt!!
