haggaeus: Archiving the listing - the cache is missing for a long time and the owner didn't reply neither to my log on the cache page nor to my e-mail.

The cache was placed by the community of Hungarian geocachers in the scenic park of a nicely reconstructed castle in Seregélyes, East from Székesfehérvár, in Central Hungary. In can be approached by car, the park is opened to the public.
Geocaching begun in Hungary in June 2001. The 100th cache was hidden in February 2002. It took only one year since then that we had an opportunity to come together on the occasion of hiding the 500th cache.
When selecting a location for this memorable box, our most important consideration was to find a place where we can celebrate together. The Zichy-Hadik castle was suggested by Mihul and it proved to be a really good choice.
The beautiful, romantic park offered several places for hiding the common cache. We selected the actual location together, after examining several potential hiding places. In the early spring sunshine more than 100 geocachers were swarming in the park, calling each other on nicknames and being obviously glad to meet each other personally. After selecting the right place several group photos were taken, then we sat down to have a geo-lunch. The box was hidden after lunch and a carved marble tablet was placed on the tree whose hollow hides the famous box.
After all this was a memorable day for all of us.
Now we invite you to share at least some of the nice experience we had here. Have a good time here!
