Jászberény, Hungary elevation: 113 metre
I invite you to Jászberény into the little wood for geocaching. The cache is on the left side of the River Zagyva. The Zoo (N 47° 29,6200' E 19° 52,1340' 98 m) is a good start point. The cache can be approach with a light walk from there. If you came by car, you can leave it at N 47° 29,6270' E 19° 52,1970' 102 m.
After finding the River Zagyva (N 47° 29,4740' E 19° 51,9810' 100 m) follow the river until you reach the coordinates of the target. There is a huge tree (about 7 m from the water). An enormous cavity hides the cache, which is 12x22x7,5cm. The box is covered with cortex (bark). Please hide back in this way.
*********************************************************
The original cache was about 300 m away, on the other side of the river. I leave here the original description, which certainly isn't effective any more.
There is a thick brushwood on the bank of the Zagyva-river at this place. It is an amazingly romantic scene. There are very few people walking here, so it wasn't too hard to hide it.
The cache is a white film-box which contains only a password (you need to register it on geocaching.hu). As it is very small the description of the location can be important:
It is on the right bank of the Zagyva-river. There is a public footpath marked with a red sign.
The cache is placed in a cavity of a tree, whose diameter is about 40 cm, and is about 2 metres from the river. The cavity is low and opens opposite the river. The path is between the tree and the river. The cache is visible I didn't covered it. I insulated the capsule by the means of a rubber ring, please keep it in mind when closing back the cache. (there is a spare ring in the cache)
You can drive on a dirt road 100 metres near to the point.
