Описание тайника:

Cache should be a cache& dash, and is placed close to roadside and good parking space. Given a 1 for terrain, 1 for difficulty, with children in mind.

Cache is a small tab lock box and when placed contained a FTF badge ,log, small pencil and some swaps, is concealed in a black sack cloth bag. and placed with the kind permission of the current church minister.

The cache is situated near to Ballycarry Presbyterian Church, oldest presbyterian church in Ireland and dates back to 1613. At that time almost all of the inhabitants around Ballycarry were Scottish

Edward Brice who at 44years of age was Minister in Bothkinnar and Dreymen in Sterlingshire and was appointed to the estate of 'Broadisland' (Ballycarry). He bagan the task of reviving the old church which was in ruins and in 1622, renovated and re-roofed it.

But Brice is said to have fallen out of grace with his bishop in August 1636 and was suspended from office. He died several weeks later and was buried inside the walls of the church.
