Geocache Description:

Ardmore is a pretty village in West Waterford, located between Clashmore and Ring.

The patron saint is St. Declan, who introduced Christianity to Ireland in the 5th century, and Ardmore has retained its ecclesiastical heritage down the centuries.

Home to artists and writers for decades, you will find an array of little art galleries and craft shops, cafes and pubs all within a short walk of the cache site.

At the end of the village, you will stumble onto the long, beautiful beach and small piers.

Up the hill directly from the cache, you will find the Round Tower and ancient church.

Those of a certain vintage will recall the merries, which were located directly opposite the cache location.

The cache is a magnetic micro.
