Before we tied the lines in the marina of Agios Nikolaos, we had been sailing in the Mediterranean for a couple of years. This song was with us.

Charles Trenet first recorded this song in 1946. Since then there have been a whole series of versions, including cover versions, for example in English by Robbie Williams entitled 'Beyond the Sea'. However, the original is still the most moving for me:
