Wir zeigen Euch hier ein unscheinbares Kleinod der Natur, welches erst durch Menschenhand so richtig sichtbar gemacht wurde !!?
Im unteren Karbon (vor 350 Mio. Jahren) bildeten Meeresablagerungen hier Grauwacke- und Tonschieferschichten, die sich während der Variskischen Gebirgsbildung (vor 300 Mio. Jahren – Oberes Karbon) steil aufrichteten. Vor 260 Mio. Jahren war die Gegend vom Zechsteinmeer überflutet. Es lagerte sich diskordant Zechsteinkalk ab und am Ufer bildeten sich Riffe aus Ablagerungen von Bryozoen (Moostierchen) und Kalkalgen.
In den 50er Jahren des letzten Jahrhunderts wurde die Grauwacke für den Straßenbau abgebaut.
Oberhalb der Wand erstreckt sich ein kleines Gebiet von Kalktrockenrasen mit zum Teil geschützten Pflanzen.
Wenn man der Berg erklimmt (bitte auf den markierten Weg), hat man bei schönem Wetter eine herrliche Aussicht. Sollte es die Sonne gut meinen, so kann man einen angenehm warmen Aufwind verspüren.

We show You here an insignificant jewel of the nature which was made so really visible only by human hand!!?
Here in the lower cirque voucher (before 350 Mil. years) marine deposits formed Grauwacke-and sound skew layers which stood up during the Variskischen mountain formation (before 300 Mil. years – upper cirque voucher) precipitously. Before 260 Mil. years the area was flooded by the Zechsteinmeer. It deposited diskordant Zechsteinkalk and on the shore reefs from depositions of Bryozoen (moss little animal) and lime algae formed.
In the 50s of the last century it was diminished the Grauwacke for the road construction. Above the all a small area of lime dry grassland with partly protected plants applies.
If one scales the mountain (please on the marked way), one has in nice weather a marvellous view. Should it mean the sun well, one can feel a pleasantly warm upward wind.
