The hotel has a spectacular view from the Gallatin Forest area, with Mammoth Hot Springs in the distance. This is a great place to check your travel bug in, or to pick one up during your visit to Yellowstone National Park. Gardiner is the traditional north entrance to the park. Here you can see the Roosevelt Arch, dedicated by President Theodore Roosevelt in 1903. Eagle Creek Campground is on the road, and further up is the town of Jardine, once the site of the 1866 Jardine Gold Mining Company that operated until 1996.
