Geocache Description:

This cache is a fairly easy walk and is located near the site of a bridge that used to span a fairly deep ravine over Tophet Brook.

The path to this cache comes precariously close to the edge of a ravine that drops down to Tophet Brook. It's a nice view down, but don't get too close ! In addition to finding the cache itself, try to find the remnants of High Bridge. Up until about 20 years ago, it used to span the brook at a fairly high elevation. Not sure why it was taken down, but you can find it at a spot just off the main path before you get to the cache. If you find it, you can walk out to the edge of what is left of the bridge and you get a spectacular view of some falls that cascade down the other side of the ravine. Please be careful at the edge of the bridge, because that first step is a doozy ! I am told that the property on the East side of the brook is private property.

The cache is a round camouflaged tupperware-like container. It contains a log and pen, a neat glow-in-the-dark FTF coin as well as several other coins and a Dale Earnhardt,Jr TB. Thanx to our uncle, dwkittler, who helped place and fill the cache with goodies !
