Geocache Description:

This cache is on Little Misery Island, the smaller of two islands off the coast of Manchester by the Sea. Access is only by boat. There are tour boats to the island or you can kayak there (as we did when we hid it) if you don't have your own motorboat. Terrain rating is based on the need for a boat. Once you get to the island, the cache is easily accessible.

This treasure chest is a small tupperware container filled with items that you'd find in and around the ocean. At initial placement, items included crab claw necklaces, painted shells, and sea glass.

To find this cache, land at the beach between the two islands. Head up the hill and follow the path around to the right toward the small clearing. Watch out for poison ivy in the area. Once you've found the cache, be sure to continue up the trail to the rocks and check out the spectacular view of the old Baker's Island Lighthouse.

Happy Caching
