Geocache Description:

You can found a canyon between Csesznek and Gézaháza named „ Kőárok” / Rock-Ditch /. It is about 2,5 km long. The cache is at the middle of the valley in a rock cavity. The size is 20 x 12 x 8 cm.

Csesznek is a small village on the northern slopes of the Bakony hills. Thanks to
the natural beauty of its surroundings and its 13th century castle ruins, Csesznek is a popular tourist destination. In the neighbourhood of Csesznek there are well marked tourist routes offering a wide variety of hiking and walking possibilities.

About 1 km south from Csesznek is a picturesque canyon the Kőárok (Rock-Ditch). The canyon has some precipitous cliff. 30-40m high, with a few cave. They have paleolithic fossils. It is 2,5 km long in the direction of Gézaháza.
You can leave your car at the opening of the valley, and then follow the horizontal green tourist signs on the trees.
