Hummelshof Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Geocache Description:

The coordinates guide you to the manor of Hummuli. There you can leave your four-wheeled buddy. The first mentioning on a document of Humularia was in 1226 when the land was being split between order and the Bishop of Tartu, where the winners divided the winnings.

During Great Northern War, 19. July 1702 a battle between Russia with numbers (20 000) and Sweden (6 000) took place in the battle of Hummuli.
The legend says that after the battle the Swedes had planted three pine trees very awkwardly, the shoot in the ground and the roots in the air. They said that if these were to start growing only then the Swedes should come back. Today one of the once known kingpines still exists. The exact coordinates you will get from the attached photo.
