Geocache Description:

Dobrý den, pozdravil malý princ.
Dobrý den, rekl obchodník.
Byl to obchodník s patentními pilulkami utešující žízen. Když clovek polkne jednu týdne, nemusí už pít.
Proc to prodáváš? zeptal se malý princ.
Je to velká úspora casu, odpovedel obchodník. Znalci to vypocítali.

Do lonskeho roku byly tyto prameny zanesene a temer nenalezitelne, ted jsou vsak diky mestu, Klubu ceskych turistu, Ceskemu svazu ochrancu prirody a Evropskym socialnim fondum tri z pramenu (Jezevci, Lisci a Kanci) obnovene a vede k nim naucna stezka, ktera byla otevrena
v dubnu 2008. Snad dlouho vydrzi...

A = ciferace vsech cisel v navodu + 1

U cedule vás zajímá ciferace vsech cislic v prvnich dvou odstavcich textu = B (edit: krome vzorce oxidu uhliciteho)

Vzdalenost k Jezevcimu prameni + vzdalenost k Liscim a Kancimu prameni = C00 metru.

Pokracujte doleva k Jezevcimu prameni. Na strisce pramene najdete cedulku s basnickou. Pocet radek v basnicce = DE

Vratte se k rozcestniku a vydejte se k Liscim a Kancimu prameni. U obou pramenu se podivejte z vnejsi leve strany pod strisku. Hned u kraje najdete cislo v kolecku, napsane lihovym fixem. U Liscich pramenu je to F, u Kanciho G

Kes, kulatou plastovou dozu o objemu ca 1,2 litru, naleznete na souradnicich
N 49° 59.(G+F)(B)(E)’ E 012° 3(A+B).(A-E)(C+G)(D)'.

[EN]Sixth cache from the Spring series, this time you can see what it looks like when people care for springs.
You will see the spring Richard in the centre of the town and, more importantly, a few newly reconstructed springs in the woods. Don’t forget to put down the number G for the bonus cache – you will find it in the logbook.
This cache is also a part of the series K pramenum.

Something from history…
The town of Lazne Kynžvart is much older than Marianske Lazne – its history goes back to the early 13th century. By that time, the king Premysl Otakar II. built a castle on a cliff above today’s town. Remains of the castle can be still found there. During the next 340 years, 29 masters from ten dynasties ruled here. Since 1623 until 1945, the estate belonged to the Metternich dynasty, and it was them who founded the spa here.
Local mineral springs are mentioned in materials as old as from the year 1454, but for a long time, nobody intended to use these. Only in 1822, chancellor Metternich asked a Swedish chemist Berselius, who was visiting Karlovy Vary, to investigate the springs.
There was about 16 mineral springs. Berselius investigated six of them and these were later labeled as “healing” and were tapped into bottles. These bottles were distributed over the country, but due to an amateur way of tapping, the quality of the distributed water wasn’t very good. This gave a bad name to the springs, and the distribution soon stopped.
These days, four springs are used for healing. Quite few were damaged by tectonic deformation or reckless farming and can’t be used any more.

The year 1950 was a milestone in the spa history, as this year, instead of adults, children started being healed here, and the healing effect of local climate was more emphasized. Mainly respiration skin diseases are healed here.

Kynzvarstke kyselkyOn the south slope of the mountain range Slavkovsky les, southeast of Lazne Kynzvart, several mineral springs spring from the ground. These springs were, until last year, in a pretty bad state. Fortunately, thanks to the town council, Czech Tourist Club and other organizations, three of the springs were reconstructed and an educational trail was set between them at the beginning of the year 2008. Hopefully it lasts...
To the south of the trail, two more springs can be found, but they are not in a good condition.

How to find the cache First stage is on the coordinates above. You will find the Richard spring there. Tapping the spring is charged, but I once saw one of the taps flowing, so you might be lucky, too.
Find the vending machine near the spring and read the instructions on it. Digital root of all digits in instructions = A
Edit: The old instructions (a transparent plastic sticker)were covered with new - A = digital root of all digits from the instructions + 1.
(Digital root - add up all the digits. If you don’t get a one-digit number, add the digits again and again, until you get one.)

Second stop is an information board at the beginning of the educational trail. You can probably park there, but it’s not far, so I recommend a walk.
Digital root of digits in first two paragraphs on the board = B (edit: don't count the 2 from carbon dioxide)

Now follow the trail - you can try going without a GPS, but some of the signs have been overgrown by bushes, so I have added coords of the springs. Alghough the path is not the best, it is accessible for mountain bikes. After 500 meters you will reach a signpost. Distance to Jezevci pramen +distance to Lisci and Kanci pramen = C00 meters.

Go left to Jezevci pramen (Badger Spring). On the roof above the spring, there’s a small wooden board with a poem. Number of lines in the poem = DE

Go back to the signpost and head to Lisci a Kancim pramen (Fox Spring and Boar Spring). At both springs, look from the left outer side under the roof of the spring. You will find a circled number. At the first spring (Lisci) it’s F, at the second (Kanci) it’s G.

The cache is a round 1,2 litre container. You will find it on coors
N 49° 59.(G+F)(B)(E)’ E 012° 3(A+B).(A-E)(C+G)(D)'.
and it is placed along the educational trail. If the GPS tells you to go several kilometres to somewhere, check your calculations.
The signal is poor near the cache, so don’t hesitate to use hint. You don’t have to walk through nettles and bushes. Please be gentle to nature and don’t dig out anything.
