Haapsalu piiskopilinnus on üks paremini säilinud keskaegseid kivilinnuseid Eestis. Linnus rajati 13. sajandil Saare-Lääne piiskopkonna keskuseks ning see oli olulise usulise ja poliitilise tähtsusega. Täna on linnus populaarne turismiobjekt ja siin asub muuseum, mis tutvustab piirkonna ajalugu.

The Haapsalu Episcopal Castle is one of the best-preserved medieval stone fortresses in Estonia. It was founded in the 13th century as the center of the Bishopric of Ösel-Wiek and held significant religious and political importance. Today, the castle is a popular tourist attraction and houses a museum showcasing the region’s history.
