Geocache Description:


One of the public parks of Narva was founded in the middle of 19th century. It was named after the Dark Gate, which was a part of the city fortifications between the Victoria and Pax Bastions.

Nowadays one can enjoy nice view at the neighboring country and quite many interesting memorial statues.

Warning - do NOT CROSS the barrier and leave the ground alone for good!

[EST] Üks Narva linna avalikest parkidest rajati 19. sajandil. Oma nime on bastionil asuv Pimeaia park saanud sealsamas kõrval asunud Pimevärava järgi, mis viis linnast sadamasse.
Tänasel päeval on pargist suurepärane vaade naaberriigile ning mitmeid-mitmeid huvitavaid mäletusmärke.
