Thermos Cap Traditional Cache

This is a small clear container with camo tape, hidden in the hollow spot of a big ole tree, just off the Codding Hollow trailhead for the long trail in Long Trail State Forest in waterville.
After a hike up to the lookout, we met back at the truck for some hot chocolate and candy bars. While we were preparing the cache for placement I noticed a unique container setting next to me??? Only it wasn’t really a container it was the Yoopers cap for the hot chocolate thermos.
I gave it back, but it would have been funny to see the yoopers hunting for their thermos cap.
