Buchbrunnen

[CZ] V letech 1890 až 1910 v Chebu rychle vzrostl pocet obyvatel a zacal být nedostatek zdroju pitné vody. Hledaly se nové, nejen na území Cech, ale i v sousedním Bavorsku. V bavorských lesích bylo nalezeno 6 pramenu, které prenechalo Bavorské království mestu Cheb k využití. Naopak bavorská mesta Waldsassen a Tirschenreuth byla zásobována pitnou vodou z ceského území pod Dylení.

Voda z 6 pramenu byla svedena potrubím k Buchbrunnu a odtud pak v roce 1912 zacala proudit 14 km dlouhým potrubím až do Chebu.

Stavbu prímo na prameni postavila tehdejší bavorská lesní správa, nad vchodem po stranách nápisu BUCHBRUNN jsou dva znaky, vlevo na nemecké strane je znak Bavorského království, vpravo na ceské strane je znak mesta Chebu.

Uvnitr je kohoutek a mužete se obcerstvit vynikající pitnou vodou (ne v zime - je vypuštena).

U pramene je historický hranicní kámen s letopoctem 1844.

A také ohnište, kde si mužete opéci burt.

[EN] Between years 1890 and 1910 count of inhabitants in Cheb grown quickly and there was a lack of water. New sources have being searched not only in the Czech territory but also in neigbouring Bavaria. In Bavarian woods have been found 6 springs which were given to Cheb by Bavarian kingdom. Thereagainst Bavarian towns Waldsassen and Tirschenreuth were supplied by a water from the Czech territory near Dylen.

Water from 6 springs have been brought together to Buchbrunnen and it has been streamed to Cheb by 14 kilometers long pipeline since 1912.

The building directly at the spring have been built by Bavarian forest management. There are two signs above entrance. There is sign of Bavarian kingdon in the left and the right one is sign of Cheb.

There is a spigot inside so you can drink delicious water (not in winter - it is deflated).

You can a find historical boundary stone from 1844 near the spring.

And also a fireplace where you can roast sausages.
