Geocache Description:

This is a relatively unknown conservation area on the banks of the North River.  The narrow trail leads through a mixed deciduous forest, across a wetland, to a large pine grove. Paths branch off to other destinations in the lot.

Parking and trail access is from along Corn Hill Lane, off Union St. in Marshfield.
The roadside has no shoulders to park, but it's a dead end with only a few widely spaced houses beyond the trailhead. There are actually two trailheads on the road; the first one is the more interesting & less wet.
All the forest paths are narrow & winding. There are scattered patches of poison ivy near the paths; be wary.  There are also narrow boardwalks constructed across wet areas.  They are well intentioned, but somewhat risky; built in 1992, and now in a state of disrepair & decomposition.

Cache is a 5x7 lock n lock in a camo bag.  The trek to the cache is .75 miles, and drops 100 feet as you approach the river.  The elevation change is gradual, and not a hardship, but you will breathe a little heavier on the return trip.
