Geocache Description:


This is one of many spots in LSF that Horseymom and friends stop to water their horses. It should be an easy find without any stress and trauma. If you’re here and there are women on horses one of them may be Horseymom, they ride in the forest three or four times a week.

If you’re on a mountain bike and are coming up behind the horses talk and make some noise, it’s not the horses that get scared and jump it’s the riders. Horse’s eyes are on the sides of their head and they can see behind themselves pretty well and they know you’re there. When you startle the riders and they jump the horses just figure they missed something and then they jump too and someone can get hurt.

As with most of my caches if you’re bushwhacking more than 100 feet you’re either lost or coming from the wrong direction. The cache container is a regular size bicycling water bottle with a log and a pen.
