Geocache Description:

Wildcat Hill is an insignificant glacial knoll in a corner of a large piece of conservation land in Norwell, MA.  The tract has a great trail system, which goes nowhere near the hill, but crosses a variety of forest habitats in the surrounding lowlands, and eventually follows alongside Wildcat Brook, a tributary of the 3rd Herring Brook.  This is one of the finest walking woods I've yet found on the South Shore, and it appears to be mostly undiscovered.

This is a 5-part multi covering approx 2 miles.  The first 4 stages are 8 oz juice bottles with orange caps.  The final is a 7x9 lock-n-lock.  All stages and the cache itself are on the ground, under pieces of bark.

The trails are well marked with colored paint blazes, but there seems to be little evidence of traffic.  Summer woodland groundcover and ferns have grown up on many of the paths; at one point I had to push through waist high weeds.
But it's hard to get lost with all the blazes.  There are no serious wet areas, but a few small streams requiring a few giant steps to cross.  The best part of this multi is the abrupt changes in the forest flora from place to place.

Park off road in a small lot to the south, on Wildcat Rd.  Look for the conservation land stickers on the trees.

Near the 4th stage, the trail comes to the street bordering a farm called Donovan Fields.   Only a short detour across the road will take you to two older caches, Donovan Fields #1, by PETTECH, and Donovan Fields #2, by SissyAnn.
