The John Little Area is a new conservation land opened by the town of Marshfield earlier this summer. Named for a previous owner, it is a 25 acre plot, containing stone wall bordered fields on the east, and trails in the forest that extends nearly to the North River on the west. The land has been designated as Priority Habitat for Endangered Species. See this Link for additional information.
An off-road parking area is provided along Union Street. A trail heads to the west, and enters the woods, forming a loop. The round trip is approx. 1 mile. The cache is a 5x7 lock-n-lock under a camo cloth.
Be sure to visit Corn Hill Woodland, another forest stroll cache located a short distance to the north.
