The one track railway Krimov – Reitzenhain (continuing to Marienberg in Saxonia) was open in 1875 and closed for traffic in 1948. It was used as siding track later. This railway was completely destroyed between 1972 – 1987 (details you can find in the book by J.Kadlec – in Czech, 2005 and other interestingness at www.zeleznice.vanovi.net). The most of the track is overgrown, and only sad fragments of former construction remind this engineering work, now. This cache is the first of series /Marienberg - Krimov that will company you along it.
