Second Cascade Traditional Cache

An ammo box on the Israel Ridge Path at Second Cascade.
Park at Bowman, at the Castle Trail Trailhead. Start on the Castle Trail until you reach the Israel Ridge Path. You'll cross brooks in three spots, so keep in mind what the water flow will be like before heading out for this cache. It was no problem to make the crossing the day I placed the cache, but we have had only one day of rain in the past two weeks.
This hike is a pleasant, mellow trek for 1.7 miles until you reach the junction of the Castle Ravine Trail. From here, you'll start to climb steadily for .8 miles until you reach First Cascade. I had planned to hide a cache here on my way back, but in the end returned a different way (see Emeril at Emerald Bluff listing). If someone decides to place a cache at First Cascade, remember to make it 500' away...it's going to be close as it is not much further up the trail until you hit Second Cascade.
You do not need to cross Cascade Brook at Second Cascade to find the cache. The cache is within a couple feet of the trail. Hint should be a spoiler.
Cache started with a couple of my signature geocaching stone drink coasters, a bungee cord, a set of watercolor pencil and a couple other items including a geocoin.
Be sure to check out the side trail just below the cache for a better view of the Second Cascade.
It's a strenuous hike from here if you decide to continue on to Emerald Bluff.
