Located along a pretty good trail. Several creek crossings, most have foot bridges. Depending on which approach you take, this is a 6-12 mile roundtrip hike.
This Cache is called MONSTER Cache and is a green ammo can. This area is one of our favorite trails but many strange occurances have been reported by multiple people. Rocks sliding down hills, branches snapping & unexplained noises from the surrounding forest. We have dubbed the responsible party to these occurances the "SLATE CREEK MONSTER". - hence the name of our cache. You will see lots of wildlife on this hike and it's truly a beautiful area. Don't worry, no one ever SEES the monster (they only hear it).
