Geocache Description:

This is a three part multi. The first two stages are micros and the final is an ammo can with a FTF prize. This is just the state of the caches we are putting out here in the Monroe State Forest.

We recommend you use the trailhead coordinates and not the lower trail with the stairs. The lower trail is not really a trail and is used by the power company. It is very steep and narrow in places. The parking area is off River Road (parking coordinates provided). When you hike the Dunbar Brook Trail you will be hiking through shaded stands of old-growth Eastern Hemlock and associated Northern hardwood trees. This pristine brook tumbles and drops 700 vertical feet in two miles, over huge moss-covered boulders forming entrancing waterfalls, rapids and pools. The forest is open sunrise to sunset year-round. Access is free. No services are available. Carry-in, Carry-Out all your belongings and trash. All Terrain Vehicles and alcoholic Beverages are prohibited.

Don't forget to grab the other caches along the way! Good Luck and Happy Caching!
