Geocache Description:


"Not every cache surrenders without a fight. The champion perserveres and is rewarded in glory." This is the quote on my favorite geocoin which the FTF'er will see in this cache. Please feel free to move it along, it's not meant to stay in the cache.

This cache is dedicated to those caches out there that don't give themselves up easily. We've all searched for them..the ones we go back again and again for..the ones we stay far past when we say we will...the ones that even nightfall can't drive us away from. Well, this is not one of those. But it is meant to honor those.

Thanks to those cachers who place those tricky, annoying, frustrating, wonderfully rewarding hides.

This is an easy walk along a well marked trail in the Green Mtn National Forest. Although your GPS will tell you the cache is .20 from parking, that is a bit deceiving as the trail makes a considerable switchback. Please stay on the trail till you are about 115 feet from the cache.

If you replace the cache as you found it, it will remain winter-friendly. FTF prize is a $5.00 Card to Dunkin' Donuts. Cache is large container stuffed with swag, please take some as it is full.

At the parking coords you will see National Forest Road 235. It leads to a Trailhead and some great trails, but my car was too low to access the the trailhead in the snow. Maybe some of you will feel compelled to venture into those trails.
