Scenic hike around the Ashley Resevoir.
The only way to truly appreciate this special place is to walk around it. This is one of the most scenic spots in Western Massachusetts. The views change depending upon the time of day, the season, and your position around the resevoir. You’re going to want to return to this area again and again at different points during the year. Make sure you bring your camera.
The hike is all on level ground. During the winter, the ground can get a bit slushy. After entering the gate at coordinates: N42 10.325, W72 39.345 head around to your left. You will ultimately exit the park through the same gate. The hike is an hour or so at a brisk pace, but you will want to linger, so leave yourself more time. Instead of signing any log, just message me the name of the pictured animal found at the second stage. There are lots of muggles here so be discrete and please hide the second stage as you found it. Enjoy!
