Warm sea water, curative mud and fresh air have made Haapsalu well-known for centuries. Only a hundred kilometres away from the capital, there`s always been a loved summer resort in Estonia.
The oldest part of Haapsalu is built on a strip of land, that was formed of many islets only a few hundred years back. Narrow streets with the wooden houses, that have not changed much from the beginning of 20th century, will bring you to the sea again and again. Haapsalu has been called the Nordic Venice for that plentitude of water. Above all, Haapsalu is a town for people. A bit self-contained peace and silence are not the only values to find this over 700 year old town: eventful summer season has become Haapsalu's trade mark.
Legend of the "White Lady" On the Baptistery’s circular window, built into the southern wall of Haapsalu Dome Church, a female figure appears during the full moon nights in August. She has been named the White Lady. How and why this woman reveals herself on the chapel’s window for centuries a legend tells the following: In the Middle Ages, during the reign of Oesel-Wiek Bishop, every clergyman was supposed to lead a chaste and virtuous life according to the rules of the monastery. Access of women to the Episcopal Castle was forbidden by threat of death. However it happened so that one clergyman and an Estonian girl fell madly in love with each other. As the young people could not stay apart, the clergyman dressed the girl up as a boy and brought her to the castle to sing in the choir. For long it remained secret, but one day the deception was discovered. The verdict of the Bishop was harsh: the clergyman was thrown to the castle’s dungeon to starve to death, while the girl was immured alive in the wall of the Baptistery, then under the construction. Lamenting of the poor woman was heard for several days until she finally silenced. Yet her soul could not find the peace and, as a result, she appears on the Baptistery’s window to grieve for her beloved man already for centuries, and also to prove the immortality of love.
We invite You to a walking tour in Haapsalu. Coordinates direct You to the building of Railway Station. Here You have to find grey locomotive standing on third railway counting from waiting platform and a number written on it. First digit in that number gives us value of A.
Now we walk forward towards the Episcopal Castle. In bigger yard there are standing two cannons next to each other. If You now stand facing the small castle yard (and the castle itself), then what year is written on the right side cannon? Sum of the digits of that number gives us B.
Next check-point is Kurhaus. There is a statue with a plate of well known doctor next to that building - this man took into use for the first time sea-mud as a healing treatment, making thus Haapsalu well known resort place all over the Russian Empire of his time. On that plate we can see one digit appearing three times . This digit is our C.
And now we walk forward to the memorial chair of P.I.Tschaikovsky. Number of his symphony written on that chair gives us value for D.
Now we have all needed data for finding the cache.

Kuigi Haapsalus on õhuniiskus suurem kui sisemaal, peetakse Haapsalut kõige päikesepaistelisemaks kuurordiks. C.A.Hunniuse poolt kasutusele võetud Haapsalu muda on siia puhkama meelitanud nii tsaari-Venemaa kõrgemat seltskonda kui tuntud ühiskonnaelu tegelasi Põhjamaadest. Valge Daami legend Haapsalu toomkiriku lõunaseina külge ehitatud ümmarguse ristimiskabeli aknale ilmub augusti täiskuuöödel naisterahva kuju, keda on hakatud nimetama Valgeks Daamiks. Kuidas ja miks see naine ennast juba sajandeid kabeliaknal ilmutab, räägib legend järgmist: keskajal, kui siinmail Saare-Lääne piiskop valitses, pidid kõik toomhärrad kloostri seaduse järgi kasinalt elama ja naistele oli piiskopilinnusesse tulek surmaähvardusel ära keelatud. Juhtus aga nii, et ühe toomhärra ja Eesti soost tütarlapse vahel puhkes kirglik armastus. Et noored teineteise läheduses igatsesid olla tõi toomhärra tütarlapse poisirõivastes kirikukoori lauljaks. Kauaks ajaks jäi see saladuseks, aga ühel päeval tuli pettus siiski avalikuks. Piiskopi kohtuotsus oli ränk: toomhärra heideti linnuse vangikongi nälga surema ja tütarlaps müüriti elusalt poolelioleva ristimiskabeli seina. Õnnetu naise kaeblemine oli kostnud veel mitu päeva kuni ta kustus. Aga naise hing ei saanud rahu ja nii ta käib juba sajandeid oma armastatud meest ristimiskabeli aknal leinamas, armastuse surematust tõestamas.
