Pięcioetapowa skrytka pokazująca widoczne na powierzchni pozostałości historycznej sztolni odwadniającej z kopalni srebra, cynku i ołowiu w Bukownie.
Jeśli bardzo Ci się śpieszy, pomiń etap nr 1, bo nie ma tam zadnych informacji! Etap istnieje ze względów historycznych oraz jako okolica do zaparkowania. Niestety, ostatnie prace budowlane zmieniły całkowicie to miejsce...

SZTOLNIA CZARTORYJSKA

Najstarsza sztolnia odwadniajaca w okolicy. Budowę rozpoczeto w 1517. Prowadziła od Tlukienki (obecne tereny Huty Cynku) do rzeki Sztoły (dawniej znanej jako Czartoria). Sztolnia odwadniała kopalnie srebra, ołowiu i cynku. Została odbudowana pod koniec XIX w. i była ponownie używana w XX w. przez KGH "Boleslaw". Obecnie jest niedostepna. Jest wpisana do rejestru zabytków.



SKRZYNKA:
Trasa prowadzi po chodnikach (etap 1-3), a potem leśną ścieżką. Skrytka jest ukryta w miłej zielonej okolicy. Jest to 1l plastikowe pudełko z logbookiem, olowkiem i rzeczami na wymiane. Aby go odnaleźć, odwiedź podane niżej punkty i odpowiedz na pytania. Polecamy zaparkować samochód przy etapie 1 i przejść cala trasę pieszo.

Etap 1
N 50°15.894 E 019°27.809 - opcjonalny etap historyczny
Tutaj był mostek i wlot kanalu sztolni. Niestety, ostatnie prace budowlane zmieniły to miejsce. Sztolnia prowadzi pod torami na poludniowa strone miasta.

Przejdź na południową strone miasta tunelem (N 50°15.870 E 019°27.660).
Jeśli jesteś samochodem, użyj jednego z dwóch przejazdow kolejowych: N50°15.957 E19°26.747 lub N 50°16.012 E 19°28.875.

Etap 2

Jesteś przy moscie nad przelotem sztolni pod drogą. W dole widzisz głęboki wykopany rów roznosu (odkrytej części sztolni). Z ilu "modułów" składa się prawa (patrząc na wschód) barierka mostu? (B)

Etap 3

Jesteś na mostku przy ujściu roznosu sztolni do rzeki Sztoły. Policz wszystkie pionowe elementy obu barierek na mostku. (C)

Etap 4
N 50° 15.685 E 19° 27.486
Jesteś na ścieżce w roznosie sztolni. Spójrz na druga strone - ile betonowych rur wpada tutaj do sztolni? (D)

CZARTORYJSKA ADIT

The oldest dewatering adit in this area. Construction started in 1517. It lead from Tlukienka area to the river Sztola (the river used to be called Czartoria). The adit carried waters from silver, lead and zinc mines, making new parts of the flooded deposits accessible. The adit was rebuilt in late 19th century, and later re-constructed and used by a local mine and smelter plant "Boleslaw" in 20th century. Presently it is inaccessible. It is registered as a historical monument.


CACHE:
This cache will take you for a walk on pedestrian ways (stages 1-3), and a forest path (stages 4-5). The final cache is hidden in a nice green area. It is a 1l plastic box with a logbook, pencil and some items for trade. To find the cache, visit the stages listed below and collect some information. It is recommended to park your car at Stage 1, and walk the whole way.

Stage 1
N50° 15.894 E019° 27.809 - optional for historical reasons
In that spot there used to be a little bridge that got demolished during the recent developments in the area. Under that bridge there was an entrance to the adit that leads under the railways to the southern part of the town. Around that spot you can conveniently park your car.

Pedestrians / cyclers: go on the southern part of the town using a tunnel (N 50°15.870 E 019°27.660).
Drivers: use one of the two railway level crossings: N 50° 15.957 E 019° 26.747 or N 50° 16.012 E 019° 28.875.

Stage 2
N 50° 15.775 E 019° 27.759 You are at a bridge over the adit passage under the street. If you look down, you can see a deep open gorge of the adit. How many "modules" are composed of the right (looking east) bridge's barrier?(B)

Stage 3
N 50° 15.683 E 019° 27.424
You are on a bridge where the adit joins the river Sztola. Count all vertical elements of the bridge railings on both sides. (C)

Stage 4
N 50° 15.685 E 019° 27.486 You are on a forest path in the open part of the adit, which looks like a nice valley. Look on the other side - how many concrete pipes outlets to the adit there? (D)

Stage 5 - final cache
Use the numbers collected from the previous stages to calculate the final coordinates:
N 50° 15.[C*C + 2*B - 15]
E 019° 27.[486 + 8*D]

REMEMBER! AFTER FINDING THE CACHE, LEAVE IT IN CONDITION AS WOULD FIND IT.
