A friend of mine has a black pug named Moose and this is one of his favorite walking areas. Lots of people use these trails too!
You can park at the end of Mizzenmast Rd. The trail will take you through some woods and then along the shore of Miacomet Pond. Eventually you will reach the ocean. A beautiful walk on any day!
The tree that this one is on looks like it was either hit by lightning or a big snowball dropped on the center of it. It is splayed out.
