Tidal island on North River
Only island on North River. There are five launch ramps along the river. Be careful to watch the tides. From river mouth to Hanover is two and three quarter hours difference. I recommend launching in marshfield and let the current take you all the way to Hanover. From Marshfield to cache is about three miles. From Hanover to cache is about five plus miles. Lots of things to see along the way. Also many caches along the way: GC1ANME: GC1ANMY: GC1X6ME: GCW0G6: GC1XJHZ: GCH3H6:GC14Y7N. The cache is a amno can hidden by two rocks and sea brick from George`s island. I have made this river run many times and never get tired of it. Hope you enjoy it, keep paddeling and good luck.
