Zaklad je postavljen v mirno, zeleno oazo sredi Ljubljane, ki sega v južno pobocje Golovca – »zelena pljuca« Ljubljane. Kraj je dobil ime po rakih, ki so bili nekdaj v bližnjem potoku.
Na majhni vzpetini se dviga salezijanska cerkev Marije Pomocnice (ima obliko latinskega križa) in ob njej dvorec Rakovnik. Leta 1900 so dvorec Rakovnik kupili salezijanci, ki tu domujejo še danes. Leta 1905 je bila po nacrtih arhitekta Franca Kaudele postavljena kapela, imenovana tudi ,,Votlina". Danes je cerkev znana po številnih romarskih shodih.
Treasure is set in a quiet, green oasis in the middle of city, which dates back to the south slope Golovec - "green lungs" of Ljubljana. The place is named after the cancers that were formerly in the nearby creek. On a small hill rises Salesian church of Our Lady of Mercy (the form of a Latin cross) and the adjacent mansion Rakovnik. In 1900, bought the mansion Rakovnik Salesians, which is home here today. In 1905 it was by the architect Franz Kaudele built a chapel, also known as the 'cave'. Today the church is known for its numerous pilgrimage gatherings.
