Geocache Description:


[ENG] Since 1987 the arch bridge, designed by local architect Endla Raime, connects downtown with Tantsumäe (Dancing Hill). The Arch Bridge become one of the symbols of Tõrva. But the bridge is not very popular among cyclists and retired persons;)

2009-2010 a first cache of Kaarsilla (Arc Bridge) was here nearby. Landscape design began in 2011 and today an impounded lake on river Õhne has got new form, some islands ard fish ladder has been added. The previous hiding place of the cache is under the water.

[EST] 1987.a. valmis Õhne jõele kohaliku arhitekti Endla Raime kujundatud kaarsild. Sild ühendab Tõrva kesklinna Tantsumäega. Kaarsillast on lühikese ajaga saanud üks Tõrva sümboleid. Jalgratturite ja pensionäride hulgas sild siiski väga populaarne ei ole;)

2009-2010 oli siia lähedusse peidetud esimene Kaarsilla aare. 2011 alustati maastiku ümberkujundusega ning tänaseks on Õhne jõel asuv paisjärv saanud uue kuju, lisandunud on mõned saared ja kalatrepp. Endine aarde peidukoht on jäänud vee alla.
