Nipmuc Warriors

I found this area near my home while searching out other caches on the GeoCaching map on the website. I noticed a “River Road” running from West River Street through part of the Upton State Forest, and up to Nipmuc Regional High School, the home of the Nipmuc Warriors. Maybe this was a “Road” when cows roamed the area and farmers scratched out fields by moving billions of rocks, but today it's just a nice trail and an excellent place to put a cache. Along with “River Road” there are a few other trails in the area, I assume, used for cross country runs by the Warriors during track meets.

Also closer to the school, but still in the forest, is a really cool “Slacklining” area someone has set up in the woods. Search You Tube if you don't know what “Slacklining” is.

There is parking on West River Street for a couple of cars.

Update... Reading through the logs, a few folks have "Bushwhacked" to the Cache. Although this is certainly one way to go, no significant "Bushwhacking" is required, the Cache is located right off a trail.
