Sawbreaker Survey Spur is a little different from the rest of the caches. Here we will ask you to be a bit introspective about yourself as a geocacher. Think of it as a game of geocaching truth or dare. "TFTC SL" wont cut it here folks. AFter you find the cache and sign the log, we want you to answer a question in your online log. If you want to use a cut and paste log in the field and then edit when you get home that will be fine. You are not "required" to answer the questions to log as found, but be a sport!
Here is question #2:What is your most embarrassing geocaching moment?
Sawdust11 That's easy. I went caching alone one day when I got out of work early. It was in a wildlife management area near Westfield and there was an open gate at the entrance. There were no signs saying the gate would be locked at any time and it was early enough in the day so I just drove right in. Well, I bet you can guess what happened. As with many geocaching trips, things didn't exactly go as planned! Sure, I found all the caches I set out to find, but of course it took me longer than I expected. Although it was only a little after 4:00 when I returned to my car, the GATE WAS LOCKED!!! No signs, no phone #'s, no gaps in the trees where I might be able to squeeze my car through. Long story short- I called the local PD who had to call the Westfield PD. When they arrived and learned they didnt have the right key, they called the Fire Dept who had the key we needed. The fire dept apparently doesn't go anywhere without an ambulance. Once they got the gate opened I hopped in my car only to find out that IT WOULDN'T START! There I was- covered in mud- surrounded by 2 cop cars, 1 fire truck, 1 ambulance, and a tow truck... but NO DNF'S! TRUE STORY!
Jawbreaker1222 One day wile out caching with Sawdust11 I decided to be a wise guy and moon him from a log I was standing on wile crossing a stream. Little did i know it he had camera in hand at just the right time and he uploaded them pictures of the moon to Facebook for all friends and family to see.
