West Waushacum Pond #2 Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
The pond is located in Sterling Ma ., is a spilloff of Wachusett Reservoir and is open to the public - It also borders the Sterling Rail Trail. Kayak/Canoe needed.
A favorite spot of my son's for fishing after work as it is close to home. Purchased a kayak last year and have come here so many times with my son & friends that I've decided to place a few caches. Parking can be found off Campground Rd/Gates Rd. and launching is along side the road. The cache is a "mini" micro and is very well camouflaged. You DO NOT need to get out of your boat. NOTE: Before removing the cache - once you've found it of course - note where you found it so you can replace it in the exact same place. Please BYOP and TWEEZERS. Too small for a FTF prize to hold. The FTF cacher will need to take a picture of the cache container and email it to me - Send me your address and I will mail you your prize. Please DO NOT post any spoilers of the container. Enjoy the serenity of the pond and watch for beavers, cormorants, blue herons, and beautiful bald eagles. CONGRATULATIONS TO SLIM_HARPO FOR FTF!!!
