Geocache Description:

Since Hurricane Irene ravaged much along the Winooski River. This cache was a victim too.
This cache has been converted to a traditional cache.


A few weeks back a certain stripedy cacher was indoctrinated into the unofficial 4-digit club when she made her 1000th find. Congratulations, Zebra Girl! To honor this most prestigious accomplishment, VT_EMT and I have placed this cache for you, and everyone else of course, to enjoy.

The cache is along the Warren and Ruth Beeken Rivershore Trail. This trail, maintained by the Nature Conservancy, is very well defined and follows along the Winooski River shoreline. There are certain areas that tend to flood in the springtime so the cache may be inaccessible during those times of high water. There is little or no bushwacking until you reach the final.
